The Bungalow, Cargilston

This was booked for my family for my wedding which was 8 minutes away. We wanted to drop off gifts early and Emma and her family couldn’t not be more accommodating! In fact she went above and beyond to be helpful!
The bungalow itself is rather luxurious, from its beautiful bedrooms, to the private outside area! My family felt this was suitable for big families, small families, private get sways for couples everything!
The attention to detail within the place not to mention how clean it was! Emma communication was top notch.
Basically should you book this place, then you will have a wonderful experience as well as a wonderful place to stay.

Stayed the night of and the night after a wedding. Emma was absolutely brilliant and arranged taxis for us to and from the wedding. The airbnb was the perfect place to relax after a busy wedding. Would absolutely recommend for anyone whether going to relax or to travel about.

Stayed here for my partners birthday weekend with our two kids and it was just perfect. The property is lovely, in beautiful surroundings and absolutely spotless. The hot tub and garden area were also fantastic. The thing that stands out the most when staying here is the thoughtfulness and attention to detail. There were so many extra touches from toiletries and breakfast items to games and toys, and a stunning birthday welcome with prosecco and cake! The hosts are beyond lovely and we had a great check in with tour of the property and helpful tips. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again

Emma and Colin were incredible hosts. The property was immaculate and better than described. They were very welcoming and around for any questions we had. If you are looking for a weekend away I couldn’t recommend it more as this is the perfect place. Emma and Colin added so many special touches and the attention to detail made the weekend even more special. We will definitely be back!

One of the most fabulous places we have stayed in, beautiful views, house was stunning, very helpful hosts who answered prompt etc. arrived to balloons, chocolates & Prosecco to help start our birthday celebrations and lovely basket for breakfast awaited us with fresh eggs etc. those small touches certainly do make the difference. Highly recommend

Fabulous bungalow, Emma & Colin were terrific, nothing was a problem to them. Everything was pristine. Milk in the fridge, eggs, condiments, fresh orange too..
Bathrobes and slippers, fresh towels, and the hot tub was great👌🏻😊It was freezing outside but toastie in the bungalow at all times.
I would certainly recommend 100% and Magz and myself will definatley be booking again…

Emma was a fantastic host, the place has everything you need and more. Me and my partner went for valentines and she had put out Prosecco, glasses, chocolates and a heart balloon it was such a lovely touch. The place was absolutely spotless, would highly recommend. Wee will definitely be back and take the kids with us next time.

Emma's place was absolutely beautiful. Colin welcomed us on arrival and was so friendly. We were made to feel right at home and they even added a special valentines day touch to our stay!. Will definitely be back. x

From start to finish Emma went above and beyond to look after us. We were in the area for a wedding, the cottage was close by and that’s why we booked but it ended up being much more than a handy location!
Communication from Emma was great, all instructions were clear on check in, and check out.
The cottage is beautiful, lovely decor and very cosy. The little touches throughout really made our stay, it was Easter weekend and there were lots of little Easter things from decorations to sweet treats. The hot tub was great and easy to use, and there was a good selection of games that we made good use of!
Will most definitely be back, my sister and brother in law staying with us at the cottage will also be back with their young family as there was so much they’d have loved too!

Great place for a weekend getaway! Hosts had thought of everything, would definitely return.

All the positive reviews are completely deserved -- this is a fabulous place to stay! For us, it was the perfect base for a short golf break on the Ayrshire coast, but it would also be an ideal place for a young family looking for a peaceful, relaxing break. Culzean Castle and Turnberry are both essential visits, and Wildings in Maidens is a fine, family-run restaurant. Many thanks to Emma and Colin for making us feel so welcome.

Fantastic place with everything we needed and more. The house was so cosy and welcoming with lots of lovely little extra touches. Hosts were great and had thought of everything. Would love to come and stay again!

Cannot recommend this place enough. Was greeted on arrival by Colin who gave us a quick tour, very friendly. Place was immaculate, felt very at home, bed was comfortable, private hot tub was relaxing and the little personalised gestures were greatly appreciated. Hosts were so lovely and the place equally so, thoroughly recommend staying as I 100% will if I'm in the area again. Great value for money, you won't regret staying here.
